In order to help those willing to help us, we have set up multiple ways to show your support. Please use whichever option best suits your needs. And as always we are eternally grateful for you support!
In order to assist with tax write offs on recurring donations, support can be set up to go through Bear Valley Bible Institute. One time or occasional gifts of support can be sent to the same location or directly to our family.
For one time or occasional donations that do not need documentation for tax purposes, donations can be made directly to our family.
Our
Story
In order for us to accomplish the goals set before us, we are asking for your support in two areas. First we ask for your spiritual support in the form of prayers as we push through the intensive two-year program at Bear Valley. Cliche or not, we have seen and felt the power of prayer and would truly be grateful if you would fervently pray for us and our family.
Secondly, we are asking for financial support during the two-year program. While the tuition is being covered by support through Bear Valley Church of Christ, we will need support to cover the living costs of our family while we complete our programs. Projections for the small army God has blessed us with brings budgeted living costs to $8,000 per month including contributions, housing (nearly half of our total budget), food, insurance, the kids schooling, and all the other expenses that come with raising children in the state of Colorado during the time we are there and acting in the domestic missions field. Add to this the cost of relocating to Colorado in November, and then God willing back to Texas at the completion of the program, funding remains the primary hurdle in this journey. With Cortney also taking classes, she will only be able to work part time and will not be able to fully fund our family without your support.
Any amount of monthly support you can offer will be greatly appreciated and put to good use. I know several amazing counselors and psychologists that truly operate with Christ as the foundation of their practice. I also know the need is far greater than those currently in the field can handle, and the need will continue to grow in this world we live in. I appreciate your support as I work to join their ranks.
